This exhibition delves into the psychological torment of sensory deprivation and excess endured by prisoners at the Old Melbourne Gaol, exploring the loss of identity under constant surveillance.

Century Layers: Construction Mapping
Poster (A1) & Flyer (A3) Design
A visual exploration of architectural evolution across three centuries, tracing the transformation of the Old Melbourne Gaol site into the present-day RMIT University. Through a layered map design, this project reveals the site’s hidden timelines—unfolding its 19th-century origins, 20th-century developments, and 21st-century refurbishments. Presented as a large A1 poster and a folded A3 flyer, the design allows users to engage with history through a tactile and interactive experience, offering both a macro and micro view of how space, memory, and purpose intertwine over time.
